If you are someone who loves snowboarding or skiing, or are interested in discovering the universe of extreme sand sports, this is the choice for you! It is the most comprehensive and wholesome tour in Huacachina. We kick it off with a training session before riding out on a buggy to some of the highest and craziest sand dunes in the region. Our instructors will be with you along the way to show you the ropes and help you achieve the most with the terrain we have to offer you. Of course, we take GoPro photos and videos along the way to immortalize this unforgettable adventure, enabling you to focus on riding and having fun while we take care of the rest.
Itinerary: 3.5 hours tour (afternoon at 14:30)
14:30 hrs: Time to test and select your equipment with the assistance of our instructors.
15:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs: We walk 10 minutes to a training area where you are going to have your first experience sliding on the dunes, testing the differences and similarities between snow and sand.
16:00 hrs – 18:00 hrs: The dunebuggy will give us a lift as we embark on our journey into the desert. Step by step, we work our way up to bigger and bigger dunes, getting dropped off at the summit of each one and then betting picked up at the bottom of the runs in the buggy. We eventually make it out to the biggest dune in the area. There we admire the breathtaking views of Ica, the desert with the Andes sprawled out in the distance, bathed in the light of the setting sun, before riding down.
18:00 hrs – 18:30 hrs: We head back to our school to share all the GoPro photos and videos that we took throughout the experience. There, we can start thinking about the après ski, age permitting of course!
